Chef's Notes

There's nothing like eating coconut with a cup of coffee on a Saturday afternoon, right? With just 3 ingredients, 4 steps, plenty of flavor and creaminess, I'm sure this recipe will become part of your everyday life.


6 large eggs or 7 regular size eggs

2 cups of sugar or 400g

4 cups freshly grated dry coconut or 275g

Step by step

1. Mix the eggs and sugar with a whisk or a fork,

2. Add the fresh grated dry coconut and mix,

3 . Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the dough into the refractory, (we used the 26cm Tauá Borda Platter as a mold)

4. Bake at 190c for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked through

You can make it in a smaller form using half a recipe who you prefer!
